I just watched, for the first time in over 20 years, the third season blooper reel from Star Trek The Next Generation. It’s going to be included on the Blu-Ray disc, and I get to see it before it’s released to offer any notes or concerns that will be…
I think that everybody has something in their life from their teenage years that they are trying to make peace with. It’s been said many times that teenagers think they know best, it’s said so much because it is so very true. I remember at 14 believing that nobody could possibly know what was best for me except for me. Looking back on those times when I was so full of arrogance and anger, it is like watching an infuriating teen movie. But the thing is we were just kids. Kids learn from trial and error, if we hadn’t made so many mistakes as kids then we wouldn’t know that they were mistakes as adults. Every mistake we’ve made helped us grow into the people we are today. I do my best to keep these thoughts close to me as a reminder to not make the same mistake twice but also so I am able to learn and grow from the new mistakes I do make.

Andy posted a picture of my Christmas Presents on Facebook this morning. I feel like my presents aren’t Star Trek Themed and he is just trying to fool me with the Starfleet insignia on the wrapping.
:)
If you have be following me for a while then you probably know that I have been searching for a Bat’leth necklace for sometime now.
I have been discussing with someone on etsy for a couple of weeks now about making one for me. He normally makes them a bit bigger than what I want so I asked if he would consider making it half the size as the original. Also, I asked for gold plating.
Well…
I got a message this morning that he had finished it. I think it came out just perfectly.

I’m super happy with it. I can’t wait until it is here and is mine.
Anyways, Everyone should go check out his Shop. He’s super nice and will work with you if you want changes to an item.

I have succeeded in my job as a nanny. I know this because Samantha asks for Spock every time we get in the car. :)
The Wonder Years Parody of Star Trek: TOS: Spock’s Brain (by memoryiotia)
Star Trek in the Wonder Years. :)
Date night with Andy was nice. Andy knows my obsession with Spock so when we saw the poor guy being suffocated buy ugly stuffed animals in that germ infested machine we had no other choice but to try and rescue him. We went through quite a bit of cash but we did end up with two balls, Domo, Kirk, and of course Spock. It was a successful rescue.
