I&#8217;m out of shape and the thought of going on a run makes me more or less annoyed than anything. but there is one thing I do get excited for. Running in the rain. There is something about it that clears my mind and I actually enjoy. So today it started raining when I was leaving work and I was super stoked because I could really use a rain run. So I rushed home from work and slipped on my running shoes and I made it outside just in time to get the last half a minute of good rain. I was bummed out to say the least. Now I&#8217;m at home watching the weather to see if there will be anymore rain before the sun goes down. </p> <p>Yes you heard that right, I skipped my workout because there was no rain.</p> check the time (because like all good modern women I have found that watches are over rated when you have a cell phone glued to you at all times) and nothing happened when I pushed the button that normally lights up the screen. after pushing ALL of the TWO buttons that my phone actually has (several different times) it was clear the world may very well be ending and I would have no idea it was happening. You see, anytime I loose my phone or it stops working I get this life crippling panic attack. Which is most likely caused by an over active imagination of terrible scenarios. </p> <p>For instance&#8230;</p> <p> My mom is traveling right now, what if she gets in a wreck and is on her death bed and I don&#8217;t get to tell her what she means to me before she dies all because nobody could get a hold of me.
